I am so grateful to have work that I love. In my own life, I have experienced therapy as an essential process for my healing and my becoming. I am honored to accompany people in their growth and empowerment.
Biography:I have been a Registered Psychologist since 1991. This means I have met a number of criteria: a Master's degree in counseling psychology, supervised practice (or internship), written and oral exams.
I was certified as a Hakomi therapist in November, 2007. This required completion of a two year intensive training in Hakomi as well as one year of supervision by Hakomi Institute trainers. I am also trained in the Re-Creation of the Self model of human development and change, and holistic approaches to addressing trauma. I continue my education via conferences, courses, reading and regular consultation with other therapists.
